Embodied Groove is a fun, inclusive movement experience where children explore music, creative movement, games, and mindfulness in a supportive environment where every child belongs. Rather than learning choreography for performance or competing to “get it right,” students are encouraged to move in ways that feel natural and authentic, helping them develop confidence, body awareness, self-expression, and connection with themselves and others.
Each class incorporates age-appropriate activities that support balance, rhythmic coordination, flexibility, agility, and emotional wellbeing through joyful movement. Students leave feeling energized, confident, connected, and free to be themselves.
Dr. Leah Taylor is a licensed therapist and mind-body medicine educator who has worked with children from pre-school through middle school in schools, before- and after-school programs, creative movement classes, dance and drama camps, and school-based counseling. She created Embodied Groove for kids to help children develop confidence, creativity, body awareness, and a lifelong joy of movement.
