Imagine this…

You walk into a beautiful, open space, with a view of Mt. Tamalpias and the Bay. You instantly feel lighter – safe, expansive, and free. The tension you’ve been carrying in your shoulders, your jaw, and your mind starts to melt just by being here.

As the music begins, you gently move your body, feeling the weight of stress lift with each breath. You’re guided to let go of overthinking, to unwind, loosen up, and drop into the moment.

Then, you open your mouth to make sound – not to perform, not to impress, but to simply release. The power of your own voice vibrates through you, filling the space with energy. You hear the voices of the women around you, each of you tapping into something raw, something real… freedom.

Smiles erupt, emotions flow, and before you know it, you feel lighter, more alive, and fully expressed.

By the time the workshop ends, you’re standing taller, breathing deeper, and carrying with you simple, yet powerful tools to access this joy, this liberation, anytime you need it.

Maggie Forti is a performer, singer-songwriter, recording artist, studio session vocalist, sound healer, teacher & consultant. She teaches privately and publicly both virtually and in person across the country. She consults for Berkeley, CA. Repertory Theatre, as a music coach, has been a panelist for Stage Fright Sessions, and is a voice instructor at Berkeley’s School of Rock. She’s created a mind, body, spirit integrated teaching modality called “Free Your Voice”© which she’s cultivated through 25 years of practice, with a process that helps transform student’s fears, self-doubt, vocal strain and a multitude of challenges that can inhibit learning. Maggie’s studied privately with vocal coach, opera singer, Pearl Layton, studied Vocal Jazz Improvisation in workshops with Joey Blake (of Bobby McFerron’s Voicestra,) Attended a Hands-on Sound Healing Retreat with Briony Greenhill, and holds a Professional Music B.A. from Berklee College of Music.

Dr. Leah Taylor is an Integrative Mental Health Coach & Consultant who has helped hundreds of clients naturally heal chronic stress and create lasting emotional foundations of joy, peace, and ease. With 13+ years as a movement instructor, a Master’s in Somatic Psychology, and a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine, she has developed Embodied Groove® – a signature mind-body-spirit modality designed to help individuals unlock freedom, presence, and deep emotional resilience. Leah teaches both virtually and in-person across the country, guiding groups and individuals to feel, heal, and elevate in fun and authentically expressive ways. She is based in the Bay Area, CA.
